Description
It was a lovely albeit foggy morning among the vast moors when the hunting party set out, today was a particularly exciting day as the snow had mostly cleared and the green foliage stood out sharply in contrast. Life seeming to be everywhere they turned and occasionally their eyes caught the attention of a dew covered spiderweb sparkling in the dim light that shone through the morning fog. Calca did her best to keep the by now familiar group under control while they danced and bounced beneath her. This time they were going to find that horrible vixen and hunt her down.

They had reached a less dense part of the moors as the thick stench of rotting wood and mud hit the feline's nose. Her nose bridge wrinkling ever so slightly in disgust and the thought of being flung off of the tokota she was riding and into that very mud was definitely not a very tempted idea and struck fear into the heart of the feline. Einstein that had been walking along patiently seemed to notice the increased heart beat of the strange cat puppy that rode on his back lately and gave a concerned look around, his ears twitching in concern to locate the danger. Seeming a bit confused as to what had upset her so and let out a sharp bark to Sethunya and mauja that were having a pleasant conversation beside them and had wandered further ahead. Their heads turned sharply in his direction and they tilted their heads at him in an equally as confused manner. Seth, taking initiative, searching the nearby grass covered banks and returned with a stick. Offering it to the small feline atop of Einstein's back with a small wag of her tail. "No, you dumb dog. I don't want a stick." Calca hissed grumpily, Seth took this as a delighted thank you and instead went to go search for more sticks. Ein lay his ears back in slight concern and let out a small whine for Seth to stop. Their attention however was changed as the wind's direction turns towards them. Bearing with it the scent of a fox, seeming to be one that Einstein and Seth recognised as they began to bounce excitedly. Calca not seeming as excited and having to inhale deeply to pick up on the faint scent. "Okay, we'll have to be very quiet-" She was interrupted by a sharp bark from Einstein as they set off at a hasty sprint in the direction of the sprint, Calca's expression becoming that of utter grumpiness and misery. As she thought 'morons' to herself with a low hiss. Not being able to dwell in her grumpiness for long as she was forced to cling onto the thick shoulder scruff of the curly beneath her. Shutting her eyes tightly as they began to chase the silver fox at top speed, the vixen seeming more than content to out run them once more and wave her fluffy tail teasingly. Sticking out her tongue as she bounces between the grass and rocks, taking the terrain in her stride while the tokotas following her served as bull dozers, gleefully knocking over various rocks and getting tangled in nearby thorn bushes and butchering the flowers that had began to bloom. Even if the landscape would not look terribly nice after this expedition they would most probably smell heavenly of wild flowers, destruction, grass and mud. They had rounded a sharp corner when mud was sent flying, the nearby rain filled creek had flooded with last nights rain and it wasn't serving them well.
