My two cents on surviving high school (though really, it works for any social situation.)Sorry its a little text-heavy, also the format is weird cause I made this for twitter. Anyways, hope it helps!

Even at my age I can still learn something. I've made my mistakes in these situations...I'm human after all. As along as there is forgiveness and trust can be given (again, if necessary) then that's the mean thing I look for in a friendship. Emotions can get the better of us at times -c-

Something I lived by ans still do to this day. It's why I find myself being so loved and well-known at my job. EVERYONE knows who I am, but I don't know everyone. :m

I got kinda lucky in High School. A LOT of the girls in my class, and a few outside them, happened to have the same very obscure interest as I did, so it was very easy for me to talk with them about it. ^^

This was literally ALL of High School. I honestly got to a point where I just said "fk it" and just kept hanging out with my grade school buddies xD (still do today, I talk to almost NOBODY I knew in high school since we parted ways). I used to be upset when my school associates would be "friends" with me one year, and then ignore me the next..like..that annoyed the fkkkkkkkkkk out of me sis. BUT I stopped caring ,and in college it was even BETTER!
Little to NOBODY cares in College! xD Just do your work, hang out, and GET OUT

Hahaha, my school system was weird, and I pretty much had the same classmates K through highschool, though we had losses and additions along the way xD That didn't mean that there were people I favored company from over others, though, and I think being nice is a good rule of thumb regardless haha. But anyways, I feel you on the friends thing, since I've had almost all my closest friends since we were in kindergarten xD

I already went through high school, but I wished it was that easy. 
But that doesn't mean your advice can't apply to anyone else. Thank you for sharing your experiences and tips, I'm sure others would really helpful.

Haha, I've had my fair share of those people too, for which I have a different strategy xD but I figured this was already so long...and it would be confusing to tack on more special scenarios...so I figured I'd just stick with the basic "be kind" message for now

Of course!! You can be shy and kind at the same time--you don't have to go out and start conversations, but if you find yourself in one, its always good to be kind
