used the reverse lens technique i mentioned about

the pics aren't edited: i used backgrounds with different colours

I think the most fitting word to this would simply be "pretty"
I can easily imagine this sort of stuff printed out large, hanging on a wall in some office building somewhere
Oh, and the top red is a little orange-ish, and the second-from-bottom orange is a little off in the tones compared to the other oranges : )

Take your lens off, turn it around, place it in front of the camera and try to hold it steady.
And then move your camera closer to the subject until it focuses
You can't control aperture or focus, but it's a cheap way to do macro

i tried. i have a nikon d80. i took the lens off and turned it around but the camera didnt take photos.
what should i do?

I think it's because you need to put it on manual - it's probably trying to focus or something

That's really cool...when I read it I thought 'that can't be what they mean!' but turns out it is! I have to try it some time, it gives nice effects
