Paper on museum stretch canvas 8 x 8"

Technical Notes:
The grungy brown effect was because I left it in the oven too long.
I dry out collage canvases in a low oven between layers because I get too impatient for the gel medium to dry.
This time I forgot it was there drying off its final coat, and then my daughter switched the oven on high to cook pizza.
Who knew that gel medium goes brown and toasty when it's baked?
I'm sad I lost the clean white finish the collage had originally, but I'm pleased I've learnt a new distressing effect!
