Description
A sketch commission for Sagethewolfblooded of her character Enrico. (Even though I failed with his looks... .-. they look nothing alike...)I did multiple sketches, but I decided to upload this one, as I ended up liking it quite a bit. ^-^
And as I haven't been uploading anything lately, I thought that this would be fine.
I hope you people don't mind too much... :0

Aww this is amazing
Is it a digital sketch?
*wonders how you got that watercolour effect on the shading*

Thank you ^v^
It is indeed a digital sketch
The way I do the shading is simple. Just block in the basic placement of the shadows, use the eraser to move the shade to exactly where you want it, change into a blurry edged brush and either have it on pressure opacity and erase from the edges, or use the brush opacity. Hope that helps ^-^

Oh cool, so you shade then erase rather than use the paintbrush at low opacity for the edges?
thanks for the tip! x3

Yee. I find it much easier (to stay inside the lines i.e). Besides, I can see how the basic shading looks and it'll be easier to fix anything that's wrong. The erasing is basically just an add on in my opinion. ='P
