I've been feeling pretty bad for the past few days. I've spent most of my time lying in bed playing my Pokemon White. Honestly, I loved the game, though not the designs of the Pokemon all that much. Anyways, when I beat the game and found out that there was no plot about Genesect, I was disappointed, especially since it has a nice little background about Team Plasma reviving it from a fossil and stuff. Since I beat the game already, and Pokemon was still on my mind, I got in the drawing mood and drew out a prehistoric version of Genesect. It's just a sketch though, so there was no real planning on its design or anything, and I just applied a random natural looking color as well. Description: Primisect roamed the ancient world over 300 million years ago. It was a stealthy and powerful hunter, feared by many Pokemon and people alike. It is unknown why this Pokemon became extinct, since it's body was basically immune to climate change and it was the top predator at the time.
When Primisect was revived by Team Plasma, major modifications were made to the blueprints of this Pokemons appearance and DNA.

Same era same head but besides that they are too different , Kabu has no abdomen and a larger torso. Kabutops is water type and gene bug

Don't worry, a movie with Genesect will be out next year, and also there will be a Genesect Event for Black 2 and White 2.
Hopefully we'll learn more about the re-modeled doom bug

Hopefully I can get my hands on Genesect when the time comes. I love how it does actually look primitive. It's dark and agressive stance help push the envelope.

honestly, i think it's a souped up version of scizor. seriously, bug/steel? have you compared the legs? the body shape? but, this definately would be awesome!

Actually, I never even though of looking at Scizor. The body shape is way closer to Genesect than Scizor's though, and I had no idea what to do for the legs, so I just made them without feet, which I saw a lot of bug-types had. Also, Primisect is a Bug/Rock type, not Bug/Steel. Any similarities with Scizor is purely coincidental.

This is pretty sweet, though you forgot the cannon and it says that Team Plasma only powered its cannon. Nonetheless, it's awesome work and keep it up.
