Description
Having fun with my mentor and friend Sándor Vadász, builder of VDS Cameras (wooden, large format field cameras like mine) at his studio (actually in front of that, at the terrace). I counted in, he dropped, I caught, water went all over the place and it was all about timing. This was a workshop for six other photographers and me. Others did several turns because the speed, the splash or even the aiming wasn't perfect. Sometimes the strawberry stuck to the rim of the glass or filling flash did not fire. When I took my position, I paid so much time to composing that others started to nag me and telling me I won't have so many turns they had before. Finally I set up what I want, even topped the water up a bit and counted in. The mirror went up, flash fired, and as I glanced to the glass over the camera, I called "That's all folks!" and stepped down from the table. They were shocked and did not believe I won't shoot another one but well... Why? I got what I wanted.
