Well, this one is just my first result with terragen...iΒ΄ve played around a bit...and got this*g*itΒ΄s nothing special...

used some cloud brushes i found a while ago..

The terrain is made with terragen, it's freeware!
After rendering the terrain i used some cloud brushes to draw the clouds^^ And after that, i copied the planet I've made in another file, changed some colors etc and et voilΓ‘*gg*

hehe it's easier as you think i guess...once you know how to make the planet, everything is ok
terragen is not so difficult to use...maybe you'll have a look at it.

Can you make a planet where you can see some other colors like on Planet Earth?

Yes it is possible, i did one on "ancient warfare" the problem is, that itΒ΄s hard do make a detailed planet with water,mountains,clouds etc...but, itΒ΄s poosible^^

everything seems perfect, it just ' sits ' right.
great work on the clouds.
i tried stuff like this in bryce. my first attempts took around an hour but then everytime i've gone back to that programme i find myself sitting there for longer and longer adding more details and discovering more and more features of the programme.
i really hope you make another attempt at this kind of stuff, it's awesome.
