Yay! Here's my submission to ViralSenshi and she's finally finished! Viral Senshi are considered neutral and are guardians of Nature. When it comes down to it, Viral Senshi exist to make sure life in general continues onward, and if there is a requirement for a pandemic that kills off a few million lifeforms? Well, then it requires a pandemic to kill off a few million lifeforms. Yay! Omnicide!
Anyway, here's a little backstory. The Soldier who eventually came to be known at "SailorPlague" started off as a young girl living in Constantinople during the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire), and was one of the unfortunate estimated 25 million people to contract the Bubonic Strain of the "Plague Of Justinian" circa 542 CE. Her starseed absorbed as much of the virus as it could, but she eventually succumbed to the disease and died within three days...
...only to be reborn in Late Middle Ages Europe and was one of the working class peasants in England. When the "Black Death" spread through Europe, she contracted the "Pnemonic" strain of the Plague. Again her now stronger starseed went to work and absorbed more of the virus, but she nor her starseed was strong enough, and she succumbed to the virus in June 1349, becoming merely one among the third of the population which the Plague killed...
...she was finally reborn as Ozella Downs in 1880 San Francisco. In 1900, Ozella contracted the Plague during The Global Outbreak while shopping in Chinatown. In fear of infecting her family and friends, Ozella locked herself in her bedroom, refusing treatment and her Pneumonic strain which she had contracted evolved into the deadliest strain, known as "Septicemic" and infected her bloodstream.
Ozella's now much stronger starseed had been absorbing the virus the entire time, and as a result of absorbing previous strains of the virus in her past incarnations, her starseed finally transformed into a Sailor Crystal, allowing her to become SailorPlague and weaponize all three variations of the virus.

† It's Plaguey Time! - Brings the blade of her scythe down on her opponent, infecting them with a fast-spreading variation of the "Bubonic" strain of Yersinia Perstis.
† Furry Friends - SailorPlague commands and army of plague rats lead by her pet Plague Rat "Chuey" to swarm her opponents.

Well, the point of her dying was to expose her to all three strains of the plague...qand of course making her stronger. She's pretty okay with what she is now given she can turn into this whenever she needs to. : )

Well, she kind of had to die at least twice in order to be exposes to all three strains of the Plague. I wouldn't really consider her a badass. She's kind of like a big kid...and would probably annoy her fellow viral senshi with her child-like sense of wonder and her seemingly apathetic nature. XD
Thanks. I didn't want to use green since I already used it on my other Plague Doctor Timmy, but the green worked really well for her so I had to use it. XD

I love her overall form, however that front leg seems a little off. The foot seems turned too far with the way the leg muscle shows.

OOooo I love this characters's design. The dark red and bright green are really nice accents, and I think you added just enough to give her some color and flavor without overdoing it. She's so interesting as a character to. I read the bio and love that to! My only question after reading the bio is what is a starseed? They sound useful. 
Reading about how she died and was reincarnated, I couldn't help but think about my own plague doctor character who is immortal and how if they inhabited the same world might actually bump into eachother again after all that time. It was just an interesting thought that crossed my mind. Does she remember her previous incarnations or does she have to start over new, but she is stronger?

Thanks. Starseed is from SailorMoon (this being a SailorMoon fancharacter and all) and were first introduced in the "Stars" arc of the manga and the "SailorStars" anime. More here: sailormoon.wikia.com/wiki/Star…
As for remembering her previous incarnations, it's very possible she remembers some parts and this is the reason she's not very serious. She's just been alive too long to really care and during her past lives she wasn't really alive long enough to enjoy herself...hence why she has a child-like demeanor. : )
I actually have a Plague Doctor named Timmy for my slightly more original story. She was cursed with a mutated strain of the Black Death and is immortal, but unless he absorbs souls/lifeforce his own Plague will spread across my body. it won't kill him, but he will be sick. ^.^;

I see. I knew this was a Sailor Moon character, but never heard of Starseeds. That's kinda cool. 
I see, interesting. I could also see how that might be kind of traumatic since she might remember bits and pieces, and her past lives weren't particularly pleasant from the sound of things. That's a very interesting way of looking at mortality and immortality I suppose. You're alive so long why take everything so seriously?
This is my character. The original was made out of Lego(that's what I do) and the picture is a commission I had done to show what he'd look like as a human more. He's immortal because he's one of the few surviving members of a race akin to the atlantians, and they had a way of becoming immortal through ritual. It also made them more resilient to disease and infection as well as making them a bit stronger and giving them more stamina than the average person. They're not super human, but more like "extra human." They can be killed though if they suffer enough trauma. Because of this Matteo only got sick from the plague, it didn't kill him. Kinda like us getting the flue. We feel like shit for a while then get better. This is why he became a plague doctor.

Thank you. I'm glad you like him. I've tried to figure everything out, but I wish I could organize it better or write it down in a way people would want to see it. I hate my own writing, I'm not very good at it I don't think. A lot of love and attention to detail has gone into the Bionicle version. I've had him since 2011 and I think I've worked on him the most of all my creations.
