Description
Two blocks from my house fireworks were going off for Hanukkah. So, despite being incredibly unwell, I grabbed my camera, and went across to a two storey carpark across the road, and got some photos... (Got eaten alive by mosquitoes in the process too.)

THANK YOU.
This batch of fireworks was my first batch of fireworks photos... I wasn't expecting anything useful at all. But I LOVE the two bokeh photos.... They were kind of accidental. I wasn't able to focus in time. XD Happy accidents. But then I pressed the auto button, so I managed to get the other photos.

Ah. Any excuse for fireworks will do!
LOL.
I live a few minutes from the MAJOR Jewish community here in Australia, and they always make a big night of it. The fireworks started, and because it was only two blocks away, I think I screamed, in my lack of voice way. I completely forgot Hanukkah starts today.
They were AMAZING fireworks though. I was too busy looking at them to take as many photos as I'd have liked, but the ones I did get, I'm quite happy with.
We don't do anything for the Fourth Of July... We are still ruled by England. But I'm looking forward to New Years Eve.

He did! He was a bit worried at first because it was so loud. But he saw "sparklies" and was happy. I think he'll enjoy New Years Eve too. We'll take him to see the 9pm fireworks in the city, by the river.
