Physical Appearance:
    Cub hood: A cub born larger than usual, powerful lungs and strong limbs. Paws oversized, flap of skin folds over near toes on front paws. Fur downy and light though there is much of it. Dull in appearance with eyes lighter than the blue of the sky. The longer fluff on the top of his head continues down his neck- Suri says it comes from her side of the family but Kali reminds her they aren’t blood related. Resembles his maternal grandfather in build if only a little stockier. Tail tuft has a wavy texture. Strong and fast once he learns his limits and likes to push them. Resembles paternal side in markings and some facial structure.

Personality:
Loyal
  His friends have his full protection, word wise or physically. He will stick his neck out for a cause or companion that he believes needs his support. So far this is in the form of not telling parents or tagging along in          excursions he knows are bad ideas so he can protect his friends.

Perceptive
  (That one kid in an anime who seems like they’re omniscient and shouldn’t be a kid)
  Extremely empathetic
  Good problem solving skills
  This stems from growing up as a friend to his mom as well as a son. Kali does not censor anything when she talks to Matias, she wants him to be well informed and know the world for what it is. Thus he is often characterized as an old soul or mature for his age, and to many it is off-putting.

Articulative
  Always thinks long before he speaks. Sometimes this shows as him speaking incredibly slowly and many think he could be slow, until they hear what he has to say. This gets better as he ages and he is able to articulate much more quickly, though for now he’s still connecting his mind to his tongue.

Adventurous- Wanderer
  Constantly following mum everywhere… even when he shouldn’t. Mum will protect him, and if he’s just watching there’s no harm. Sometimes Kali doesn’t know about this- Matias is a very sneaky cub. Despite being male, many think he’d make a good hunter later. He seems to show more skill in running and hunting-esque games. Imagine an archer and track star if he were human. Though these are his best skills as he grows he seems to fall behind in these in favor for brute strength talents, much to his dismay.

Stubborn
When he’s got his mind set on something, you have to out stubborn him. Not frequent.

Vocal
This goes great with being loyal and protective. He’s not afraid to speak his mind because everything he would say has been thought out and proofed so many times in his head. He believes he can support the arguments he makes and if he can’t then he won’t even argue them.

Humble with a touch of boastfulness

History:
    Born to Mwanzo, a lioness from Kalisha, and Erebus, a rogue. Gave his mother some trouble in labor in that he was a bit too large for an easy birth, but was an otherwise healthy cub.
