Update: So I redid everything as some may see. I have brightened up the color, like the red and green. I have updated his skin tone so it's no longer like his son's skin tone. I feel I have found a skin tone I'm happy with by the way. A lot of people have some up with different version of his SSJ skin tone and I think this one makes sense. Bardock has a tanned skin tone so I feel this would be the tone in this form, as Goku's is lighter. Plus I have changed the hair, I redraw a new cut based of my Majin Bardock artwork. Finally I have increased the size, a lot. I hope people like the changers and I plan to update two of my older Bardock artworks as well in the future. In a perfect world I would update all my older artworks, but I simply don't have the time. So I will just pick every now and than an artwork I really like to update.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have meant for a long time to make Bardock as a Super Saiyan 2. Was working on another artwork but got distracted, will get back to it. Bardock is one of the best characters ever in Dragon Ball Z and I would like to make more of him in the future. What I don't care much for is the Dragon Ball Multiverse version recently seen. Armor just does not suit him and I understand they were trying to make a different suit of armor but it does not fit the style of Dragon Ball Z. I have liked just about everything Dragon Ball Multiverse have done but this time I was disappointed.

I like how you are one of the few DBZ artists to make Bardock in so many different very well-done forms, as he is an awesome character underrated in the DBZ franchise. Seeing you make so many amazing drawings of Bardock inspired me to make my own take of Bardock SSJ2 since not many have done that particular form (SSJ2 being underrated as well) in a little less of a tenkaichi style since it has a background. Would you mind checking it out for a second and telling me what you think? I am looking to improve my art as much as I can and I know no better DBZ artist who could give me feedback than you haha.

I believe it's called Dragonball Heroes. If you look up Bardock on the wiki page it tells you about it, but it's not much. There's a picture of it too, but it's in black and white. Oh cool thanks man, found the card img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20β¦ don't know why heroes gave him orange/red lightnings in this form, rather than the regular blue or white bolt. Personally I would like to have seen them keep it official to the series, but they may have too. Because this card is one of many cards, were Heroes goes over board with effects, sometimes hiding a lot of the image. So have to wait to see them make more cards and images of him, to tell which way they are going with the design.

He really needs to come back into the story, and not as a lame cameo appearance. But I would actually like for one saga, and hear me out on this... Bring back all the saiyans that Goku had fought in the past. Only they would become stronger than ever, and want to settle things with Goku and Vegeta. And Bardock would help out as a mentor, and as a comrade. Not a perfect idea, but an idea of a rambling fan. Anyways great picture, hope for more. Peace!

Right! I mean could you imagine if Ratitz had a rematch with Goku only on an even level! I'm talking Super Saiyan 3 Ratitz fighting Super Saiyan 3 Goku... Epic! Then right when you think it can't get even more exciting... Vegeta fighting Turles. Vegeta would love beating anyone who looks like Goku, and Turles, wouldn't mind beating the spoiled Saiyan prince. And the match I would pay top dollar to go see, would be Bardock against Brolly. The first Super Saiyan verses the legendary monster Super Saiyan. Chills! Seriously just disappointed myself because I know it'll never happen. Oh well. Enough rambling, sorry for taking up your time reading this. Peace.

I wish Bardock didnt die in the giant death ball that frieza created. I wonder how proud he would be of (Kakarot) Goku , Gohan, Goten and what he would think of the Super Saiyan levels
