Probably the most girlie image I have come up with.Her figure is very loosely based on a picture of the lovely Arria Giovanni - I completely changed her face and right arm though.
I initially sketched this out on paper. I did the underpainting in Photoshop. Then the top painting in Painter. I finally added the magic coming from her hand in Photoshop.

The addition of the sword is interesting, as you wouldn't normally think of a faerie waving one of those around!

I just thought the earlier colours I used were a little muted and sombre. I think that now I have brightened the picture it feels more up beat and fun.
