hey hey please read!The instructions are for the Paint Tool Sai, ok?
It's a animated gif, and because of it the colors are more limited than in digital art. I didn't this dotted effect, is just because of the format GIF.
Is a chibi eye, the format is more "rounded".
For understand, see the image that the eye belongs: [link]
But the original character don't have blue eye ^^'
If you don't understand something, please, ask me. I know that it's a bit confuse.
Tools used:
- Tablet (but is possible make with mouse)
- Paint Tool Sai
- Pen tool
- Airbrush for the softness
- Blur in some parts for be a soft gradient- - -

Kuru do not have paint tool sai but can kuru try drawing on a paper? Are you using the tablet to draw??Β

Some artists draw on paper and color on photoshop~ I use Wacom Bamboo tablet, yes ^^

I'm a litte confused tough between the first picture (just the outline) and the second where you have made a base of the inner eye allready, what did you use there? gradient?

Hum, I just use make a dot with Pen tool, and with the Airbrush I make the gradient~

I always change the size of the canvas, normally is about 2000+ px and I work in 300 dpi currently.
