Welcome home master…

it was those words he uttered everyday, and he meant it everyday, always said it and he always said it with every piece of truth possible welcome home. because it meant he got to see her smile. the maid he worked with everyday he never saw her smile so brightly as when master came home. she always smiled when helping him he knew no matter how much trouble she had to go through she would if it was for their master. he had to admit he love her after all those years of working with her, always seeing her work her hardest with the elegance of a cat with enough speed to make anyone feel like a snail in comparison especially him.

she would always sing the masters children to sleep with her beautiful voice it sounded as if a choir of birds made up her singing voice. but her appetite well… it was the one thing that scared him the most he honestly wondered if her stomach was a black hole. being the head chef of such a prestigious home he had to create gourmet cuisine on a regular basis he always made a little extra for her and little in this house little usually meant enough for a family of five. she always ate it all and half of his too. and then proceed to ask about the snail he always carried on his shoulder, he’d then tease her about her cat ears and tail. and they’d have a good laugh

but he knew that she will never love him. he was just good friend to her nothing more. he thought this everyday seeing that smile was a bittersweet reminder to him. it’d showing him what he could never have himself that smile he wished he could make her smile like that. his own smile turned solemn as he walked to the front door he looked and her whispering something to their master he felt even worse seeing her that close to him it only reminded her how much he liked the master more than him. he didn’t harbour any bad feeling for it towards anyone for it that would be unbecoming of a butler he proceeded opened the door for master after he and the maid ended their conversation. Escargot.. the master said to the butler, it has come to my attention Min would like to speak with you in private, you’ve been given 10 minutes. he walked into the door with a smile grin on his face

Well Min.. what is it, while his face seemed uninterested inside his heart was racing he looked at her beautiful face her hair that blacker than the night sky he gazed into her green eyes and he could see the beauty of every flower in the manors garden multiplied by an unimaginable degree she looked beautiful even in her dirty maids dress her beauty nearly made him faint.
Um Escar… Min said with a small squeak in her voice she often like to refer to him by his easier to say nickname I just wanted to say w-well that I um….,He thought it was adorable when she got flustered like this he justed wanted to hug her and tell her it was alright but he had to restrain himself.

I Just wanted to say.. OH TO HECK WITH IT ! min ran up to Escargot and pressed her lips on to his. needless to say Escargot was surprised both their faces were the color of roses eventually min pulled away. I know you probably don’t like me back but.. i just. he put his finger on her lips … right before kissing her back. he got what he could never have
