If anyone remembers the old D&D choose your own adventure books then you might remember this guy. This my take on the title character from Endless Quest #13 "The Dragon of Doom, " the mighty Shen.Shen is described as an enormous black dragon in the book, but there is a description of it also blasting things with lightning so I crossed it with a blue dragon as well.
In the original sketch Shen is overlooking a town/city in a valley to the right of the page, but I haven't finished that part and its head wouldn't be look that way, so it is not included for now.
My tablet is still down, but I still think I might clean it up and color it in photoshop. Anyway, I hope you like it.

That Black/Blue fusion angle works wonders for this guy's mug: the spiffy buffalo-style side horns project far enough for aesthetic appeal without quite obstructing that fearsome muzzle, and the whopping nasal horn doesn't hurt (unless you're on the receiving end).
As for the main body & assorted extremities, they fit the subject's apparent "rep" nicely: proportionately impressive wings (nice "tatter" texture on those membranes); useful-looking tail-spur; compact & solidly-muscled torso; wicked claws; and your customary layer of scale-packed detail. Good show, sir.

Not sure what you mean? Shen is the dragon from "The Dragon of Doom," I didn't make didn't write the story. I just wanted to do an image of the dragon.
