cool but i think you should try to not have the sides exactly the same, somethings could be the same but not all. And you pay more attention on where the light are comming frome.
But its a good start and a nice concept.

yeah, I will. I haven't really messed with this design lately cause I have been so busy, but I only flipped it like that so I could get a better idea of what the final design will look like. yes i agree that there should be variations though. thanx!

Nice, The the shapes on the iface pats. Highlights and shadows are tight.
Some more details would improve it alot, and if you did not have the sides exactly the same.

very cool interface, the stars suck but thats alright. If you'd not merely mirror the right side, but actually make some changes, it would be top notch

Only problem with flipping something horizontally, the lighting flips too...

yep, i just took the chunk that I liked from the other design, and applied it to a different idea. the secret to that metal is a lot of pen tool for the shapes, and a lot of gradients. its actually pretty time consuming, but its worth it.
