here some digital sketches of the watchmen characters. that was the theme this week over at Outcast studio daily sketch challenge most of this week. here's the link if you want to check it out [link] .the point of these isn't excellence in draftsmanship for me.....so i know these aren't the best figure drawings....the point of these for me this week was to come up with cinematic compositions quickly. so i think i did that here, and all at 20- 25 minutes a piece.
so if you like dramatic compositions, take a look.....if you like pretty drawings more....AVERT YOUR EYES!

remember that i do these directly on the cintiq monitor. so that saves a lot of time right there.

These look cool all together. My favorite is the Comedian.

thanks.....but that one happens to be my least favorite. i know i wasn't going for pretty drawings, but the drawing in that pic is a little too sloppy for me.
i do like the coffee table, though....i think the blacks were spotted well in that part.
