Description ((I absolutely adore Darwyn Cooke's miniseries 'DC: The New Frontier'. The story and art is great, but what I love even more is the obvious love that Cooke had for the Silver Age of comics. So, with that in mind, I decided to take a page from Cooke's book (get it? I made a funny!) and make my own idea for an Elseworlds story of several events coming together from my personal favorite era from comics, the 90s (or as some haters would call it, The Dark Age) Eitherway, here is my idea for a post bronze age, pre modern age concept. Enjoy!))

The Justice League International is gone.

With the death of Maxwell Lord, the JLI has decided to fold and go their own seperate ways. It is a very harsh time for the heroes of the world, and things are simply becoming darker:

Superman, the hero of tomorrow, experiences a transformation with strange new electric based powers. Powers he simply cannot control.

Bruce Wayne has had his spine shattered by an enemy known as Bane, in the process destroying the legacy of Batman.

Diana, Princess of the Amazons, has her title as Wonder Woman stripped from her after her mother, Hippolyta, saw her death coming in a dream.

Wally West, also known as the Flash, has disappeared in the very Speed Force that powers him.

Aquaman has been stripped of his ability to speak to ocean life, and in the process, has had his hand violently removed his foe Charybdris, causing his mind to slowly warp.

and without warning, the Martian Manhunter has simply disappeared.

It is a world without heroes. A world without guardians. A world that is about to find itself under the attack by one of it's own. Hal Jordon, the last of the Green Lanterns, has given into the madness following the destruction of his city. With all the Green Lantern powers flowing through him, Hal is going to attempt to alter all of reality, bending the world to his own will as Parallax.

All hope lies literally in the hand of one man...

Kyle Rayner, freelance artist, is stopped by the last Guardian of the Universe who offers Kyle the last of the Green Lantern rings. Kyle accepts and suddenly finds himself given the most powerful weapon in the universe. And, as a new Green Lantern is chosen, the universe compinsates, forging new heroes to step into battle and stop Parallax from unleashing his Zero Hero.

Superman returns, now mastering his electric powers.

Bruce Wayne has chosen dedicated fighter Jean-Paul Valley to become the new Batman.

In the Amazon games, Artemis is selected to be the new Wonder Woman.

The Flash seems to return from the speedforce, donning a new red and silver costume...but is it still Wally West under the mask?

Aquaman is given a new harpoon hook for a hand, reading to resume his duty to protecting the world's oceans.

New hero Bloodwynd rises up to take on the mission that the lost Manhunter once called his own...yet something about him seems rather familiar.

Together, these seven heroes must band together to form a new type of Justice League to stop Parallax's Zero Hour, and keep the world from falling into a new Dark Frontier...

I'd totally read this. It'd be great to have a trilogy, like New Frontier, Dark Frontier, and a modern age end series.
You should post more art pertaining to this.
