i made this image for my desktop, on the laptop.no stock,
just a photograph i took around 4 am.
i thought it was pretty, so ima share.

i took this the same night as the picture i took for you
this is the lake i was referring to in my response to the comment you left on the other picture.
it was nice to just sit there and take it all in.
i took very few pictures that night, mainly because the exposure time was so long in order to pick up anything at all.
and its very hard to focus in the dark
but i plan on going out again and taking more night shots, or maybe even some sunrise ones.
i just need to find a nice place for that.

im very fortunate that i have a deck.
i mean, a BIG deck- in this new apartment. and its very private, it opens up
into the forest.
so its very nice. even when i dont feel like straying too far from the house-
and i need a place to go and collect my thoughts without worry of being disturbed by outside elements-
i can just make a cup of tea, and step out on the back deck. and just
listen.
and watch the tree silhouettes shiver in the wind.
(the night is my favorite part of every 'day'

my backyard used to go right into these beautiful woods, untill i moved out. (my parents home)
i pretty much grew up in those woods, so i can really understand that kind of connection with the forest.
my current home is kinda surrounded by houses, its not too bad though lots of trees in the neighborhood. my yard is pretty over grown. theres a bunch of bamboo covering up one side of the house. (live with my brother and best friend)
i miss being able to walk into those woods though....
