Description
After the loss of her dear friend and almost-soulmate, Prowl, combined with the ever solidifying realization at how dangerous the universe is, Fuchsia knew she would never be her old self again. Her purpose was to protect, but now she knows that that isn't enough in order to keep her loved ones safe. Through season 4 she'd face her own battle between being a fighter for the greater good, and ending up like her sister, as bad as those she swore to fight against.

I'm not sure what lead me to do this. I've been into that "break the cutie" trope lately. Maybe I've been growing up, maybe I've been feeling angsty, maybe I've been inspired by BudTheArtGuy 's darker fan character interpretations.(Check out his awesome, edgy character art btw) Either way, this happens. People grow up, learn more about the world, and become faced with a handful of conclusions and different paths they could take in life. Especially when they've been as sheltered as Fuchsia. I'm sure at one point, once Prowl gets the hang of revealing himself as a ghost, he'd face Fuchsia and what she's become. It'd be awkward at first for the both of them, but he'd be able to empathize, and better yet, warn her of that delicate balance between defense and offense.

At first I was going to use regular pen lines for the line art, but I liked the sketchy look so much that I've decided to keep it. I've been liking that method of just coloring the sketch, in spite of how I compare it to the Xerox process in the Disney dark ages. And let me tell you, it was ridiculously difficult to find the right text for the "FIGHT". It needed to look slasher-y without looking bloody, because, come on, she's not a murderer.....right, Fuchsia?? Right???
No she's not a killer I'm just being dramatic. She's just teetering on the edge of that...
