If you saw this picture minutes earlier looking like a scan instead of a photograph, then...I hate how the scanner made it look, and I'd rather just take a picture of it.

When digital art starts to stress and overwhelm me, I like to turn to traditional art. Especially watercolor. As difficult as it is, I find it very relaxing. I think it teaches me to improvise when making mistakes, and to be patient and quick at the same time.

This was actually a redraw of a picture I made back in about 2015 that I never uploaded. I looked at it and thought I could do better, and that it would look better in watercolor. I accidentally made a little smudge on Snoopy's back, which I covered up by adding shading and fog.
