Second attempt at flash ponies, first attempt at Luna!As with the last one. I know its short, but im really just testing the waters here. Am i any good at this? Let me know!

i love looking at this, its one of those artworks that make you focus on whats important; the actual pony. i don't actually think i have ever seen a good animation of Luna. this is one of those good ones, one that has almost the exact same looks and personality actions. but, for the technique, i don't get the water lines, i cant see any other form of water movement in the picture. the impact that the picture has on you is that you really think that Princess Luna is a serious and high standard pony and you have definitely reflected this in the animation. i would love to see more of these from you.

Thanks for the critique! I always appreciate collective criticism. But as for the water, it was just a static image but I decided I wanted it to have some movement. So I literally threw the water effect in there in like 1 minute

I love art and animation! and i plan on doing more in the future, but im pretty busy atm with work and just life XP also i dont have a download for the song but you can search it up and im sure you can find one!

Aside from items previously mentioned, the only thing I found that could use improvement are the sparkle fields in the mane and tail.
The mane and tail sparkles are always clipped within the dark blue field. The current animation has them in the translucent area and even entirely outside the mane and tail. In addition, I think the sparkles are turning black at some point in their rotation. Something tells me they should be translucent or a 50% alpha white at that stage.
I see you also added some sparkle to her shoes. This is nice, as I've seen this and even vectored it before. For added effect, you can even add the occasional sparkle to her chest plate as well, but not a lot. It's not as shiny as the shoes.

Very good fluid motion on the hair. On her tail, where the motion starts, I think the motion should start a little closer to the base (the top part of the tail only). Just because it look very stiff when the motion begins. If that makes any sense lol

First, this is an awesome animation. Just wanted to say that, and the music goes along very well too. I also think the ripples are going a little too fast, but they do add to the overall animation. Only other thing I could possibly critique is perhaps adding a shadow for Luna. I think that would give her a demanding presence. Other than that, this is very solid. Great job

Heh, with such dramatic music I was almost expecting a night flight, perhaps involving a battle against Queen Chrysalis and some changlings. But hey, this is pretty good too. The water animation was done really well and the subtly of Luna's head nodding must have taken careful concentration.
