I always wanted to do Gravity Falls fanart, but I didn’t know how I would go about doing it. Then I started thinking about how I dislike the cartoons and anime are treating separately, which I feel they are both too of the same things.
I would consider Anime a sub-genre of cartoons rather than completely removing it from the idea that it is a cartoon altogether. So with that being said, I wanted to work on cartoon and anime fusions to kind of show that they are one in the same.
I remembered the series, “Paranoia Agent”, and thought that it would be dope to merge with Gravity Falls. I did not think it would mesh so well, and I am surprised by the results. I loved the entire process behind this piece, because I wanted to improve the shading and lighting step of my workflow. I feel that this will be my approach going forward.
