Description
Only fools choose to be the hero, because the hero is destined to suffer. I look throughout the world and down through the ages, and I see the true heroes (not simply those glorified as such); the true generous benevolent souls who sacrifice everything to do what is right, and I weep for their suffering, and if there be a god I curse him to the face for abandoning them after all they had done in the name of virtue. The truth is I do believe in God, but as far as I'm concerned he is no better than the devil himself! And don't give me that "they were rewarded in Heaven crap!" That's the biggest load of propaganda horseshit I've yet heard! Napoleon was right when he said that religion only exists so the poor do not murder the rich!

Prosperity & Punishment can happen to good or bad guys. It kinda seems to work out that way in the Real World.

God literally died so that when the time arrives, all the suffering will stop completely, never to return. The question is, "Why doesn't God stop all the suffering now?" That's a hard question to answer, but it can be understood when we learn the origin of sin and suffering (fyi, it wasn't God). This is explained clearly in chapter 1 of The Great Hope:

Actually, the only reason why we have this nasty hell propaganda/scare tactic within Christianity is because of (1) the hellenization of Judaism, and (2) poor
translation of the bible due to the translators' biases.
God's not sending anyone to hell to burn forever. The "unquenchable fire" the Bible mentions is misunderstood, and "hell" in the original Hebrew language translate to "grave", not a place of torment.

You prideful fool, do you not understand that you, me, and every other Human being are nothing in comparison to our Lord. Even Satan is no match for the Lord because he was but an Angel who was cast below the Earth to serve his purpose. If you claim to truly believe in God, then look in the Bible, or what ever God you believe in that is, and read up on the concept before you think you're better than anyone else.

If Satan is no match for God,why is he still considered a threat?I mean no offense,I'm just curious.

Satan is no match for God, however he is a threat to us. God wants us to choose Him, but He gives us free will to choose Satan, if that's what we want.

Outside of the Bible, there is little to nothing you have that can prove Satan is a threat. What if he happens to be the good guy among all of this? What if Lucifer saw beyond God's light and there was nothing good for Humanity?Think about that.Try to consider it and if it turns out it breaks any logic of yours, don't block me.....

Well, other than the Bible there isn't anything else. Ultimately the Bible is a book of faith, and as Christians, that is something we need to learn to accept. Tell me, what do you know about the origin of sin? Your profile says you're a Christian, so you should have a basic understanding of it.

God left him his powers that he had as a former Angel to watch over and collect the damned souls that did not follow the light of the Lord.

The first offers temporary pleasures followed by oblivion, the second asks for restraint and service in return for everlasting paradise. It would seem the second is offering a heck of a deal.

Who have you heard, seen, or read about that is a "benevolent soul" that was brutally tortured in some way? You have a reasonable argument, but does going to church, praying, or people persecuting one for acting in the name of God account as the price? Or maybe, I can see living in itself being the price. Human beings around the world struggle everyday just so that they could survive and maintain a stable, secure life. I just want to know what you are referring to. I am a Christian (not really any one particular type of Christian because I was baptized as a Catholic, but I believe in the Lutheran belief that people should determine the meaning of their faith and what is said in the bible on their own.) , but I tend to take on a lot of agnostic beliefs. Everyone is so quick to say that a God exists or does not exist. Their is scientific evidence that a God exists, but there is not enough evidence to prove that one physically exists in which we could have 100% certainty, so the truth is, nobody really knows. Being an Atheist or a Christian, or any other religion is a way of "jumping to conclusions" scientifically. They are simply assuming, but I'm not necessarily against having either religion, however, I am mostly in favor of being agnostic if people only want to believe in logic. (Christianity and Atheism can both get out of hand in their own ways anyway. (Christians being overly dogmatic in some cases and Atheists being sort of hypocritical in some cases because they have their own church become anti-Christian/religous in some cases.)

fuck heaven...I'd rather spend my eternal afterlife in hell.
and if God doesn't like it, tough...he should've gotten off
his arse from that puffy cloud of his & saved humanity
when they prayed to him for salvation to most.
but if God wants us humans to fend for ourselves since
he's too big to offer some divine intervention...then so be it.
but he'd better not butt into mortal affairs like some fictional
fallen elder god that I know of.

If I live my life as a Christian and it turns out I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. I'll just decompose, and that's the end of it.
However, if I live my life rejecting God and any attempt from others to reach me, and it turns out I'm wrong, then I've missed a huge opportunity. Don't you think it would be logical to err on the side of caution?
God isn't just "sitting on a cloud" watching us suffer. He's doing everything He can, which is exactly why He died on the cross, to provide an escape. However, if He were to just erase all evil right now, it would just come back like a cancer. In order to remove sin and suffering permanently, He needs to let it run its full course in time, so that the world will realize who started this mess, and sin will never arise again. Read chapter 1 of The Great Hope:
thegreathope.org/assets/files/…
I don't know what happened in your life, but it seems like your upbringing led to a skewed view of God's character. See, one of the biggest lies in religion is that God is a spiteful, angry old man that's just sitting there, waiting for you to screw up so he can punish you. But that couldn't be further from the truth. You were born for a reason, and God loves you as if you were the only person on earth. He is deeply moved when you suffer, and even keeps track of your tears (Psalm 56:8). He doesn't care if you spit in His face and trample over Him, He loves you more than you could ever imagine, and nothing you can do will ever change that. Your only job is to accept it.

Ask a typical Christian what can he/she about Jahweh ... I can assure you that they will forgot that It force them to fullfill his will because they will end in Hell.
