First time trying to animate lmao ripI'd love it if anyone has any suggestions for a program! ;7; I'm looking for an animating software but I don't know which one to use (this one was just made in a gif maker lol)
I was thinking trying the toonboom free trial? lmao idk if thats a good one though
So yeah, I'm totally open to suggestions!! <3

use firealpaca for gifs, pencil 2d for animtions. (if u have a mac last time i checked pencil makes ur tablet pen laggy. but if u have a pc ur good. also u can have a sound layer) both programs are free. (for using firealpaca for gifs, heres a link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDF-Da⦠)

I usually just use a gif maker too tbh, or frame by frame stuff in windows movie maker xD

yeah, i guess! it has onion skin layer mode or whatever, which when you turn it on, each layer is a frame, and there's an auto play thing so you can preview it and stuff.

i used that to make some of my gifs tho, although mainly i use ms paint rip xD

Ahh the bouncy effect is so nice!! I can see a few missing frames tho but it's an amazing start tbh.

The timing and spacing look very good tho esp since u drew them without a proper program omg

also toon boom is a good program altho I have NO IDEA how to use it. I animate traditionally or with photoshop as of now, but TVPaint is an alternative (also confusing as hecc). Some people animate with flash but again I'm sorry I have no idea how any of those programs work lmao

Yea teh bouncing ball can be done without following these rules but they help with conveying the weight better!
Animation is super difficult but also the best?? When I animated my smoll character I saw it mve and almost cried like "she s alIVE "

but i think u can do toonboom trials. I would watch some tutorials first tho so u don't lose time and already know how it works before wasting the months of free trial. Trust me . animation takes a fucKTON OF TIME

basically u draw the main poses and then put them on each other, light up the table and draw in between. but- it's much more difficult than it sounds lol
