I do like the style of SU but there just seems to be a weird... change in the art since the first episodes. Mainly how much smaller the characters have gotten and the size of the heads/compared to their bodies. It's not quite a change in the style, just consistency
I don't mind it as much as critical blogs, but sometimes I'll notice it while watching and it'll bug me.
I think the pilot had more of an nostalgic vibe to the art style

I don't mind the smaller style except for the heads and the fact it feels like a decline
The original designs were so much bigger and felt more detailed. And Steven was actually chubby/fat and had realistic rolls and such. I certainly enjoy the show, and animation is a rough business, but it just looks... bad at way too many points
