It's based on Seaside Hill, yeah. But everything on that scene is sadly the only thing there is to it D: I don't feel comfortable enough with any 3D Software to make an actual stage ono

Renders are my favorite type of Sonic artwork. I wish I knew how to do them myself. They all look friggin' awesome! So yes, I'm giving you a compliment on this picture because it looks amazing! Especially the texture of his glovs!
