Description This was done in october 2011 for a proyect in IB art class in which we were obligated to use intervention as a media of art. Personally I think it is in very bad taste to scribble over another artist's work, so I took my own picture of myself eating a cut apple and drawn and painted over it. It's not my favorite painting, but whatever.
It is about the wrong perception humanity has of monetary value of objects. Dragons have a tendency to appreciate minerals and gemstones, collecting gold and other objects for their beauty, and eating gestones for nutritional value (they digest it and use the result to produce fire). They, however, don't look at them with greed as we humans do.

I got this idea from the fact that I colect minerals, and I rather have an uncut small diamond than a large cut one because for me, the cut one has no beauty. Beauty is in nature.
Also I got inspired from Spike from MLP: FiM that eats gemstones like delicacies. This painting is supposed to be a dragon eating an emerald. The color green represents the hope I still have for humanity to change.
