Yuri and Estelle =
Fluffy, swishy, swordy, and smiley floofness. I've been trying to draw these two for ages. Yuri I can usually do something with but WHY IS ESTELLE SO HARD TO DRAW??? She really doesn't look like she should be. Ah well... I opted to draw her in her Princess gown because I love it.
I tried to use a softer pallete and nixed the black lineart to some avail? Meh. It looks pretty I think. I'm also pleased with the way Yuri's hands turned out. It was a weird angle to work with.
...my 360 refuses to play ToV. I am coping by drawing the characters. (and since Raven isn't in this picture... one of his artes is an appropriate title. "SUCH GRACE! "

I really like the shading on this piece, especially Estelle's dress and Yuri's hair! But Estelle's eyes look a little wide (have you heard of the width of eye rule?). Also, Yuri's sheath isn't at the same angle as his hand. Otherwise, good rendering and keep on drawing!

I like the Naive characters aswell, I have the PS3 version of the game and there you can hear really well Estelle's growth. In the beggining she uses the formal "he", "kare". After a while she begins to use the unformal "aitsu" like Yuri ^^. They're perfect for each other!

I think a dubbed Patty would be like hell... the way she talks can't be transelated to english in any good way... a dream Tales of series would have been like this; lanuage: japanese, subs: japanese, english, spanish, german, norwegian etc. And they would all be without region protection, and relased for every game system :L... that would make Namco really rich! And if they only sold these to other countries!!!
