I know my course... This will seal it. The moon leads me!

I watched the moon rise tonight on my ride home from work. It was close to the horizon, enormous, and radiant with a golden color. It inspired me to go back into my photo database and see if I could find a hidden gem to post here on Deviantart.

I thought this one was perfect; it displays my Cecil costume in nearly full detail. The craftsmanship on the armor can be clearly seen. Having spent much of my Summer working hard on the armor, I appreciate that!

The armor was made of poster board, various fabrics, foam, beads, PVC pipe, and rubber. Rhinestones were applied to the armor to enhance the in-person appearance (I can't live without a little sparkle. )

The blue outer cape was made of suede and was pleated in the back. The inner cape is made of golden silk, lined with the same fabric, edged with white fur trim and painted with turquoise details.

The makeup is by Star Gazer London, Too Faced, Cover FX, and Loreal HiP.

This photo was taken in July 2010 on a perfectly warm and sunny day. On such chilly winter's nights like this one, I've been terribly missing Summer!
