Original image: [link]First off, no comments about the way I write the name, ok? People don't seem to agree about how to spell it, and this is just the way I do it, alright?
Okay! So, here we have my interpretation of the Scaldrun from the Dragon Manual! I always thought it looked rather majestetic, and imagined it to be a "gentle giant" type of dragon. Just the body alone would be the length of a Viking longboat (I really should have added a size comparison -.-). But even though it's big, it's not an agressive dragon. It would much rather swim along the sea floor using its powerful tail and wings, gulping down unlucky fish and snacking on seagrass and algae. But should it be provoked, it will spray boiling water from its mouth in defense.

This design is way better than the Canon Design for the Scaldrun. It makes the dragon way more interesting visually and I love it!

I like the head design on this much better then the official, it looks more realistic and sensible than the one on the show.

But just so you know, .. Scauldrons Do have teeth, they're just like little pebbles,
also their legs are supposed to be really tiny and can barely walk on land

I know you clearly stated no comments about the name spelling but I just want to make a quick point, the name Scauldron is the "correct" spelling because of the obvious word mixing in the name, Scald + Cauldron= Scauldron. Again just stating a point and the way you say it is fine I understand that's how you want to say it and can respect that, just wanted to get that out there because I can't understand how someone can spell it Scaldrun, an explanation would be nice. Thanks for your time.

Again don't want to dwell on this subject too much, but I think the first part of the artist's wording is fine with 'scald'
If it is a combination of scald and cauldron, then scaldron and scauldron both make sense. Like you I would like an explanation for why it ends in run if there is one, just to clarify

If you noticed it the Scaldrun is a kind of Turtle Dragon mixed with a whale giving it its majestic look though since they live in the ocean you would expect the same things to be on it as on a Whale or turtle.
