definitely a good choice.
its great for steady shots

but if you're really extreme macro shots
get a canon..the new ones that they have are great with macro shots
but not so much with steady shots
most of the time you'll get blurry shots :l

always test out the cameras first and play with a bunch at the store

but sony is definitely a good point & shoot camera
