Nope! If I don't wear socks while I sleep, I feel naked. I wake up all anxious, convinced that something will eat my toes. True story. Stupid childhood fear I can't shake!

(What if you got frostbite and lost all of your toes, would you still wear socks?)

I know, right??? It's true though. And yeah, I'd probably still wear socks if I had no toes. The unknown things might try to eat the arches of my feet . . . .
Another irrational fear? I WILL NOT open my eyes under water in a swimming pool. I'm convinced that there are sharks in the pool and if I open my eyes under water, they'll see me and get me. But if I don't open my eyes, they don't know I'm there.
So silly! Especially since I'm 32 . . . . .

I know, I know. It makes no sense. But I've had nightmares about it since I was little. Irrational fears FTW
And big 'ol lizzard in the pool wouldn't phase me at all XD!!! I'm a big fan of reptiles. I'd probably swim with him and then try and bring him home!!!
I have a friend who's terrified of Amilia Airhart. Because they "never found her". How's THAT for an irrational fear?!?!?

See, this is why Im glad I have a normal phobia, spiders. People wont be all "wtf?" when they hear about it.

However, I know someone who apparently is afraid of hexagons.

About the lizard, its a she, and was very pregnant at the time
