Thanks! I thought it would be nice to do a drawing of a large extinct mammal moulting, as it is a visually interesting thing that I can't really remember seeing in palaeoart.

That's very true. You would expect something like that to be widespread among depictions of large mammals. That same thing would apply to things like velveting or shed antlers or crooked horns. I mean, our local zoo has Bactrian camels and forest reindeer, and they both exhibit this, for example.
