I was told my gallery is too impersonal, I should include more people in the pictures. So here goes.. the image to my Mum.

I didn't miss the people in your images till now and I guess I won't miss them in the future 
I all depends on what kind of images you take and want to share. Just make your own decision in this. You have a nice style and that should count as '

Pfft, don't pay attention; abstracts are more personal than the standard issue 'my feet', 'half of my face' and 'close-up of my eye' portraits. (Unless the people pics you had in mind are nekkid women. Those are OK.)

Someone told the same to me years ago, and they were right, but that was in a professional setting. These days I enjoy shooting people and even let them walk into my picture where I used to wait for them to pass.
However, you have a very personal, recognisable style of taking pictures, and if you're very sure that people are no part of it, I wouldn't put them in. I can't harm to experiment though, and I like this experiment.

I experiment every now and then capturing people in urban environment, but that's another genre.. People become reluctant if they are aware of being shot or you have to be fluky and quick..
