Inspired by a dream I had regarding the disintegration of my closest uncle. It is meant to depict the precise moment of collision captured within the dream. Distortion and fragility the human body of a vessel is meant to be portrayed as the entity is suspended in desolate space, similar to the understanding of why one would be entranced by such a vision upon awakening. If you notice, this piece is seemingly related to "The Recovery Process." That was done on purpose. Addiction is a person's attempt at regulating their own nervous system. It is the sickness that runs in my immediate bloodline, and I now take the conscious responsibility to take the cancer and cut it out. If we allow the negative to grow, there becomes more of it, and at its worst, we identify with it and become it.

I realize that my present self is not grieving as much as my younger self is. My uncle was everything I ever wanted to be and nothing I ever wanted to let become of myself, all at once. Wójek, I hope that you are free of your illness. You deserved so much more good than you believed yourself to deserve.

This is an oath to live a life worth dying for.
