Reference sheet for Spade.I'm going to regret doing something for myself in such a busy time, but I'm tired of giving people multiple links for him and Shiro when I want them drawn. So, Spade reference
Shiro will be next, whenever I get the change.Another reason I made this, is because I need examples of my reference sheets, seeing as I have none. So now future commissioners can see what my ref sheet skills look like

I am glad you have discovered the MAGIC OF REFERENCES. I never used to use them either but now they're absolutely invaluable, even sometimes just to understand even the animals I draw a lot even better!
if you mean the type of broad collar that is recommended for sighthounds' necks, by the way, it's called a martingale collar. :3

I know, I love it when people who ocmmission me have references, but the only one I had before these two were Idess' XD Which is used constantly, but it did get confusing gathering random images of the character to give others

I think people should use references more often because it does help make you a better artist. That said you’ve captured the true form of a Borzoi, even without losing your own style in his design.
By the way I like how you worked with the spade marking. It flows nicely with shape of his back.

Thank you! I never used references in the past, but now I'm starting to find them more useful. I just think that once I know how to draw something really well (aka mastered it) I no longer need references

The numbers are the number code digitally. Like if you change your font online, you use < font color="#FFFFF" > that would change your font white. If you type in the numbers on his sheet, those numbers will make your text that color. And the same goes for Photoshop, which is the program I use ^^ If you type the color number into the color box, it will automatically go to that color.

I can't draw well without references.But If I draw something with a ref and then draw it again with out it,I can draw the pose better.I think references help an artist grow.
