Description
This has been sitting around on my computer for quite some time now. I finally had the motivation tonight to actually complete it.I'm fairly happy with the results. The only thing I don't like is the feet, I hate feet.
I should really get around to finishing the 3-4 pieces I have on my computer too. Maybe some other day.
Criticism and tips on drawing feet are appreciated!

It's all been done before, but that doesn't mean that there aren't different ways of presenting something. The look and feel of the series actually differs from what you did with this quite a bit, but it did remind me of it. Mostly the part of the series where the main character goes her wings. Don't sweat it much, you're doin' fine. ^_^

I wish I had handy tips for drawing feet, but alas it has me stumped also. As far as I can tell, endless practice of anatomy drawing is really the only way to get the damn things looking right!

So clean! I really like the style, the basic form comes through so strong with details like the folds in the pants being secondary. The rim lighting is particularly nice.
I think you get away with the feet due to the style of the piece, but if you wanted advice I'd say play with the shapes a little more (like the curve you get on the top of the inside of the foot due to the arch) and make sure the toes don't get too small.

Ooh wow that looks awesome hon! I'm always amazed at how soft and real you make skin look. The pose is wonderful, the anatomy rocks. It's a very powerful piece. :3 As always wonderful job.

The feet doesn't really bother me and his face and hair are perfect.
I guess I'd suggest that the pants should probably have more folds, particularly because he's bending his knee and that he's a guy (and guys usually wear baggier pants xD). Oh and to convey the message that his wings are actually "exploding" out (I'm assuming that's what's happening lol), you should add some motion blurs or something to that effect, along with the sparkles/feathers that should also show directional motion.

Good point with the jeans, I had a lot of problems with that as well. And good idea about the extra feathers/motion blur! All of my watchers seem to have the best ideas all of the time... haha

I actually think the feet are good.
It reminds me of a 3-D rendering, so perhaps a little more definition to muscles and anatomy, like someone else above me posted, though I do really like the attention to detail I see in the jeans and color choices :3 *sounds like her old art teacher lololol* and yay for bright shiny wings xD

I like how the feet turned out myself. The lighting though is what I ...don't truely get... It looks like there's a REALLY hard light under him, yet his back is fairly lit. But- god those wings are pretty... @.@

Just a habit of mine to add a secondary light somewhere off on the side. Maybe I should tone it down a bit so the main light source is from the back.
