Description An older picture from my archives... actually one of my first with C4D

The textures are pretty bad and the design is too symmetric (yes, critique ) but i like the lighting, so iยดll post it

I might add some objects later, it looks a bit empty and the scene is predestined for some kind of storage hall robot or.... device.. dunno...

Some of the textures are taken from Marathon 1 and inspired by part 2, tribute to Bungie (again)

*whistles*
I like the lighting and the moodiness of the picture; calls to mind the dark service halls and back passages of the Marathon.

WOW! This is amazing! Not just the shot itself but the layout of the corridor.

I SO want to go hang out in this place!

Looks great, kudos on the lighting.
Probably when I visit, thats when the scientists have that breakthrough but I am not Gordon Freeman or a space marine.

Liked and finished marathon 2, would have finished 1 if they did not put that stupid puzzle with the buttons in.

I don't understand the floor. If its just the metal grid, you need to make it smaller, so people can walk on it.
It looks like people with size 11 shoes would still fall through.

Hm.. there is a glass plate on the floor, on top of the grid, but you are right, its hardly visible...

The Marathon Trilogy are my favourite games, i still play them once in a while, especially part three...

i assume you are talking about the elevator quest on level 13? Yeah that was nice

The first Marathon had this stupid puzzle in which you had to shoot buttons to raise or lower platforms so you can move to another section. The part that sucked was you could not see some of the effects of what you did immediately. Had to shoot a button, run to the platform section, too low or high? Go back and shoot another button. Thats not fun in my book, that bordered on tedium. I knew what I had to do but I just did not have the patience.

Tried Marathon 3 and it was like well kiddies you must have finished Marathon 2 with blindfolds on lets add some more challenge. You have limited air and creatures that take a million shots to kill, good luck. I have played tons of shooters, so its not like I don't know how to play. They got a little nuts with the difficulty.

Played them some time ago, don't think I have the cds for the trilogy anymore.
