Status : Under ProcessingThis is coloring work being done on an original artwork by *rustymitchell ,
I started working on this quite some time ago.. and normally I don't take this long, But really don't want to hurry on this. This is a very nice photograph and I want to do full justice to it's grace. But anyways I thought I would upload this (voila, new Scraps section).
Well it will still take quite some time to finish this..
one, I'm taking it very slow..
two, the office workload sucks...
third, if I go on vacation next week add 9-10 days to delay..

This is coming out great so far. It's hard to believe that the original colors are different from the ones you chose. It's all seems to fit so well together. I really like the color choices so far. I don't know if it is something with your photoshop technique, but all of your pictures seem to have a soft feel to them, even thins one. I've almost associated it as being your trademark. Very cool work so far. Be sure to post this picture when you're done

As far as that trademark thing goes, I really dunno about that soft feel as I don't do anything special for it... lol... it, just comes out that way I think. Glad you like it.
And yes... I will be posting it once finished.. Hopefully soon.

It's really wonderful to see how you're breathing life into "Eric." It's charming to see things I know are one color a totally different color. Looks beautiful so far... love the colors you picked for the paint on his pallette. If you ever want to see what colors they are originally I can send you one after you're through just for kicks.

Well, hopefully I finish on it soon... but I don't think I would like to see the original till then. The reason is, I might pick the original colors.. hehe, I think it would be fun if I use my own imagination and colors... and then I would like to see how it differed from original. what do you say ?
