I know, the hatching isn't awesome, I focused more on the composition and choosing the right image for the story.

you know, I'm really glad you included the white border on DA. It balances out the overall amount of white and frames it all nice and professional like.
FYI, my favorite raven is the third from the bottom, the middle big one. I think he has a silly name. I'm aware you haven't named them. It's just I look at that raven and say to myself "I bet you have a silly name. Julius perhaps."

well u see the bottom one is actually Mythos, and the top is the big evil raven and that one.. that one is Fransisco named after Fabian, because Fabian would make a silly raven

I had to do a project like this for a digital art class I took. I like the contrast of the hatching inside against the white space around the birds.

yah, CS3 and CS4 have an animation function too.
u can get a huge discount on it because you are in school, and u can get a huger discount if u know where to find it
I personally have to buy it again, along any other program I need after next school year. :/ I figure I might as well save up for a new mac book then anyway. I gotta stay up to date on materials for the industry and all. -.-
