This obviously isn't the picture that's been previewed in my webcam. But I wanted to finish this first so badly!
Adventure-style Sonic. I used to love the way Yuji Uekawa made the official artwork. An artist's style can change over time, but his changed for the worse. All the newer Sonic artwork (Sonic Advance 3, Rush, and Sonic Channel artwork, for example) don't look nearly as cool as the Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 ones, I don't know why. But here's me trying to emulate SA1 style!I never really have time to draw anymore because of school, to explain the boringness of my recent deviations.

When I outline/color pictures in Photoshop, I usually do it right over the scan of the sketch, and erase the sketch layer as I go. Guess I missed a few spots. XD And I can't believe you noticed that; not even I did!

I absolutely love your artwork on Sonic.
I totally agree that the artwork after the two Sonic Adventure games started to head south. Your artwork really blows me away just like the time I first saw the cover of Sonic Adventure back when it first came out for the Sega Dreamcast. (and thats pretty good!!)
I'd love to see more Sonic artwork from you and this is definitely going into my favorites.

i completely agree with the new art thing, and kind of games in general, the sonic style art was awesome until adventure 2, and as far as ive played, that was the last really good sonic game to.
you have done a great job at emulating the style, possibly even better then the official art itself.

i agree with u sonic adventure style was the coolest! i didnt mind the first sonic (90's) but nothin cooler than SA and i dont like the new sonic much (sonic the hedhehog 2006-present)

I liked the Sonic Adventure style art better than SEGA's art now too. I was actually just looking at the cover to Sonic Rush Adventure again and observing how that style's changed. I liked the old style. =/

BUT SERIOUSLY. I thought this thing was official. Not only did you get the lineart and coloring down, but the overall pose and style looks just like Yuji Uekakwa's work! I'm deeply impressed
