it's short for leslie but she tells everybody that it's short for lesbian

she's so gay that her colors are the lesbian flag
and her eyes are also gay but if you're feeling :^( then you can just draw them white with black pupils

les struggles with depersonalization but nobody can tell because she always seems to be proud / happy / confident but the reality is that she often doesn't feel anything at all , and when she's feeling particularly spaced out her eyes are drained of color and it pretty much drips off like tears
