I feel like this is missing something, like a person walking down the path...but then my mind fills in that empty space, and it's like there are ghosts thereβnot scary ones, just the spirits of the people who have traveled that way before, as if something of them still lingers. It's really a very powerful photo, Emmi. And of course the color is just amazing too. I would love to see it in real life someday.

Well, I can imagine what you're talking about. When I walk those ways it feels everytime like there's some spirit around me. Especially when I hold on for some seconds to observe and feel my surrounding this feeling is very strong.
I don't know exactly where you live but I'm sure there are some places like that nearer than you may think.

I live in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest USA. We get a lot of German visitors. It's said to remind them of home here, so yes I imagine there must be some places just like that around somewhere. ^_^
