So I'm trying to find my style in drawing Mario characters.I'm trying hard to keep the drawings clean without any stray marks and lines I usually do when I sketch so that when I start putting things together, they'll end up looking a lot cleaner in the end. I might color these later, but I'm gonna try improving my hand in drawing first. Ugggggh. They look better in person. Why?
Luigi looks best in the arrangement, but Peach looked best on paper. I don't like Mario with a neck. He seems almost identical to Luigi. ...And he's supposed to be chunkeh. I might just get rid of the neck, or give him a shorter, stubbier one...
Daisy was originally part of the lineup, but compared to these three, I felt I didn't work hard enough on her. I'll probably add a few other characters later.
When I finally get their looks down, I'll start working on some real hardcore business. :]

His head is plopped right on top of his shoulders.
Or it might be his chunkehness that fills in the gap.
I really wanted to preserve the height difference between the two...
I'm thinking I won't get rid of the neck, but just shorten it so it shaves a few inches from his height.
