Description Which District are you in?

I did a little research and made my own map based on basic common sense and some simple conjectures, as well as facts from the book (some of which were a bit conflicting, which made it hard to integrate). Original map from [link]

I MADE THIS MAP FOR FUN. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE PERFECT - THERE ARE ERRORS, AND I AM WELL AWARE OF THAT, THANK YOU.

I'm just a regular fan who wanted a visual representation of the Hunger Games world. Keep in mind that I made this map in about half an hour, and there are far more accurately researched maps out there (such as this one [link] ) which I would suggest checking out for a better idea of where the districts might be. I hope you enjoy this! Feel free to share your ideas as to where you think the districts might be, but please, be considerate, constructive, and polite.

Well since majority of Kentucky is in District 12 but Louisville is in District 6, I'm a District 6 girl.

I would have thought District 2 would have been nearer to the Capitol and mountains? (Just thinking of what they did to District 2's Justice Building).
Someone else may have already mentioned that though.

I always pictured the Capitol in the middle. I don't know why, I just did. I think it was because I was working on the theory that they relied on every other district to support them and that somehow lead to them being the centre of everything (like the sun~! 8D).

Your thoughts have made me reconsider that... Having it on a beach, for example, makes so much more sense because even Capitol dwellers (who have no idea of what work really is) need holidays too, I guess.

A thing I think is weird is that there's no order the the districts. The districts always seemed ordered in the book (e.g. The Victory Tour) and it looks a little weird here...

Good to see another persons opinion though.

Apparently I live in the wilds, so I'm either a tribute in the arena (they'd be in the wilds, right?) or some super-awesome rebel person hiding from the Capitol in the woods. Probably the former. DX Though if I moved futher south, I could be in District 7.
