Ok, this is the last part of mah tutorials, this is the part that actually uses the gradient tool. Not much really I can say about it, if you get confused just ask or note me. I don't bite

I have very nearly finished some proper artwork so expect that tomorrow ^_^ I am so sorry for spamming your inboxes with my tuts hehe. (Not really )

Hello!!

Thank you so much for putting this tutorial up. I have always wondered how in the heak you guys did this, and this is just perfect in explination. You did a wonderful job in these tutorials, I again thank you so much for this. This has helped soo much I am so used to doing the blending and messing around with the opaqacies and the pressure sensativities in order to get this effect (which took DAYS) so maybe this will take much less time. 8D

Not at all, its a bit dated now. I really want to update it, maybe simplify it a but but for now it will have to do! It gives you a nice effect but it its a tad repetitive and time consuming. But I think its worth it ^_^

This tutorial is fantastic! I will definatley be using it I was just wondering, do you have any suggestions for other tutorials that use this and/or similar methods to shade? Dont get me wrong, this is one amazing tutorial, but seeing how good you are, it makes me curios as to were you learned or got help from xD

I did use some tutorials for the pen tool, the main reason I made one because I found a lot of them lacked the detail needed for beginners to learn.

wow, ths is the best tutorial i've found!
i'm gonna have a go at using it, coz it makes ure art look amazing
i use corel painter x and i think it has a gradient tool...

Thankies!!! Great tutorial! I never thought about using gradients to color horses. I always just thought about only using dodge, burn, and smudge. I love how you do manes and tails! Do you have a tutorial for those, also?

Thanks! Yeah, I always used to do that till I got bored one day and tried gradient shading

I don't have a tutorial but *Losmios has a good one in her scraps which is very similar to the way I do it. I hope that helps!

Thank you! I am not sure if it works in photoplus, I have not heard of it before. But the basics of this tutorial should be usable in most programs, just maybe not the pen tool.

I don't even know if that sentance makes sense >_<
