Now I am wondering if the group will be alive again? ;u; I'm interested when the group seemed already dead. Ahh sorry for my rambling orz, but I'm amazed that you still want to rp with your character eventhough the group is inactive! Usually people don't have a mood to rp their OCs anymore if the group is dead.

ah yeahhh it sucks if the interest die down and the group became inactive without any advance notice ;u; but the feeling of a member who wants their oc to live, I know the feeling 
but yeah I am so excited since this is my very first animal OC, and I think omadobu fits so well. I already designed him and create his personality before I found this group, but it's inactive orz. at the front page, it is said that next opening is October, but I am not sure it is October 2014 or this year haha xD it would be great if it was this year. I also noticed that one of obadobu admins is in hiatus and will be back at October as well. Well I do hope the group is alive again, I didn't found any good place to fit in my snake oc :U

you and your friends had the right idea -gives gold star- in any group there has to be some people out there who wanna do stuff with the group but there would be no point if everyone just had no interest. the least you could do is giver a heads up ya know. cause then those people who still wanna do something could like...idk make a skype group or a group chat. at least something for those who wanna keep using their oc and rping.
i think if a group is going to die down at least have a chat group open.

it's true omg, at least at the inactive group I'm in they give a heads up, although it is a sudden and had just an opening not long ago. even if it is a bad news for a group for being hiatus / closed, at least heads up is better than leaves members in the dark
oh gosh you would do that?? although I do want to get in, I don't think that's a wise choice. I mean, there are some people who want to join the group as well, so if I get in exclusively, that will seem unfair orz. but yeah if you asked them about the opening that's fine, the more the merrier >u<

see with the group i manage i always give a lot of updates or i keep the members request open. the only group that's closing down is the one that's getting a new group where the characters are older and i legit told the members a month ahead.

It's 2 weeks since October 1 and they didn't have an opening....
ahhh I see..... but seeing the group now, I'm kinda thinking twice for showing the app. I mean, seeing how the group is dead now, do the admins even have a time to check up the group inbox? And also there are some people who commented in the group, questioning is the group alive or not, or that they are interested. If they check the inbox, they should notice those, and if they care to bring the group back to live, at least they can write a journal about it. but so far there's no news so OTL

well snakes are in petting zoo, tho I wonder if king cobra is since it's a venomous snake. xDDDD true that tho! While the kids are scared, all he cares is just sleeping....he is just a sleepy guy since he's an albino cobra, and used to stay awake at night in the wild because of his contrast color.

ahh. yea the group is kinda dead. but i'm sure if we can catch the attention of an admin then they'll make some announcement or something.
the good thing is people are still interested. so if we get new people coming in preexisting members will see the recent activity and start joining in too. it's all about the catching the attention of the admins. i can ask around.

I'm just worried that ppl who are interested with the group and want to join lost their interest knowing that the group is dead OTL. and also if we ask ppl who is interested to make an app, they might think twice about it since dead group = making app = wasting time and energy OTL
haha thanks! xD I doubt he will sneak out from the zoo. He is too lazy, too sleepy, and he is secured within his own cage, get decent food and safe from predators at night...so why bother LMAO.
ohmyGod that is too cute o<--< even if Connor reads a story for him, in less than 2 minutes Quorgel (my snake's name btw, goes with Kuu as nickname) will just roll himself and fell asleep. He cannot stand long attention span. Never
ah well, since king cobras are actually diurnal, Kuu is //forced// to be a nocturnal since he's a light-colored cobra like this animalwonder.com/wp-content/up… (I mistaken, saying him albino. sorry my bad) and since light colors are spotted easier at night, he //has// to stay awake in order to survive at the wild. that makes him to suffer (constant) sleep deprivation. so once he gets into the zoo and feels safe, he would just....sleep and sleep pffft.
see? just small talk about connor and kuu and it gets me excited already. aaah such dilemma, why the group has to be dead OTL

he has really short picture books. sometimes he'll have the kids lay on his stomach and they read the book with him. i can imagine he tries reading to Kuu-Kun and not even a page in Kuu falls asleep. but because Connor is so freggin weak he can't move him so he's just kinda like "welp this is my life now" and starts reading a novel or something.
oh okay. so he's just light colored and not albino. tis okay! no worry~
Well it makes sense having him to switch his sleep patterns to avoid predation. although i feel so bad for the poor baby~
always suffering from lack of sleep. he needs all the hugs~
oh man
he's gonna need to wake up eventually! he just sleeps 24/7 and when he's awake he's just eating. the zoo keepers have to schedule viewing times for his exhibit and those times are just him eating.

the worse thing is he can sleep so suddenly. it is possible when he's in a middle of talking, he fell asleep. and he even sleep like a dead snake, he doesn't bother to roll himself before that lol. it's even possible his upper body dangling down when he's on the tree //kicked
and since he slithered quietly, he can appear or disappear silently like a ghost
hahaha that's if he's awake! xD or he will just sleep like a log. his schedule is just, sleep, eat, sleep

Connor: -he was tired. he spent most of the day reading to children just as he normally did in a day and of course letting them put his fur. after cleaning the pile of books the children had touched and he read today he restocked them and moved on to finish reading his independent novel. after a moment of looking around a sinking feeling filled his stomach. his book wasn't there. as much as he wanted to say it was there and he wasn't looking hard enough Connor was never the type to leave a place messy. he cleaned his area after every batch of children and again more thoroughly at the end of the day. no he knew exactly where it was. the circus a few children dragged him to when he was on break to go get more food for himself. letting out a grunt he began making his way towards the tent. he didn't like the circus. the last time he was there he nearly died as his friend attempted to have him pull of circus stunts. he quivered at the memory and picked at his sweater as he slipped into the tent. quietly he made his way to the seat he was at and looked around the area. it wasn't there. he wanted to cry. he just had to know what happened to Isabel after she became trapped in the cave with the mysterious boy. HE JUST HAD TO KNOW! he knew none of the children would have taken it as they were young a a book with no pictures wouldn't be interesting. could one of the other animals taken it? what use would they have with it? some of them couldn't even read! why would they take his precious book? he looked at the stage and saw the book. his eyes lit up only for him to cringe as someone came and picked it up. it was the fire breather...-

Tap : -Things had ended too short, the show had gone by too quick for him, his ears flicked back as he noted something on the stage, ‘this is different’ he thought as he lifted it with two fingers, his fingers causing a mark similar to an oil stain from the lamp fluid he had been using, his tail wagged slowly as he studied it hard, rotating it about in that two finger hold, inspecting it with such intensity as if he had found an alien device. He sniffed at it gently, it definitely did not smell like a human, nor of any animal of the circus he knew of, he shook it slightly looking to see if any sort of identification would fall out for him to locate the owner before turning to look around to see if he could find them, he quickly spotted the rodent who was looking his direction, his ears perked up and tail wagged as he hopped off the stage and seemed to prance over to him with a holler- Hey there, do you know what this thing is? Or where it’s from? Or what it does? Or what it is?-He repeated a couple of the questions as if emphasizing which one he wanted to know more, a large smile spanning across his face in a giddy and excited nature to have someone to interact with-

Connor: -he flinched as he was called out to. his eyes darted around the audience, begging for anyone else to be there and talk to the loud animal. of course nobody would come to his rescue. it was just Trip and him, and he wasn't looking forward to their interaction. he took a step back as the male prance over to him. perhaps now would be a good time to run. before he could inch his way towards the exit any more the lad was in front of him bubbling with excitement over the object- a-ahh...-he was at lost for words as he looked up at him,slightly shrinking into a ball. he didn't like to interact with adults. he found them to be far more complicated and thus scary. not to mention compared to the other animals at the zoo he was rather tiny. he cleared his throat into the sleeve of his sweater and put on his best professional voice.- um, yes! yes i do....it's a book. and it's mine so i would very much appreciate it back and i shall be on my way. -he nodded and held out his slightly trembling hand to take the book.-

Tap: -His tail wagged faster and an ear twitched as he hummed as he looked at the others hand, saw the tembling and gently took the other’s hand, cupping it with one of his reassuringly as he placed the book in their hand lightly with their other one. He slouched slightly to try keep about eye level with the other, what he frequently did with frightened children- He wrapped his arm around the other’s shoulder, hugging them slightly against his side with a curious expression still on his face- Are you cold? –He assumed such was through misinterpretation of the other’s tremble, and his ears drooped, a pouty expression drew to his face- If you’re cold I could give you my shirt, but it’s not really warm at all. Want some fire? I could make some fire. –He spoke quick seeming like a child attempting to do everything he could to please a teacher-

Connor: -he relaxed a bit as the book was placed into his hand. looking over the book he could see there was no visual damage done to the hard cover book, he let out a quiet sigh as that was one less thing to worry about. he looked back up at him and furrowed his brows. he, being the easily intimidated ferret he is, was never good with eye contact over bigger and older people. the quiet voice the wolf spoke with took a bit of the edge off however not enough for him to be comfortable. of course any comfort he might of had was taken away when he was pulled into an embrace.- f-fire? -he spoke out shocked at the suggestion. he didn't want to be around fire! what if he were to catch on fire, or even worse, His book! he stammered and shakily readjusted his glasses- u-umm....fire is umm...f-fire...a-are you q-quite sure? -he stammered finally getting out what he was trying to say even if it was rather vague and sounded as if he didn't want either of them to get in trouble. -

Fire~ Its great here see? -He took a step back from the other flicked his fingers with a swift moment he held a small sized fire- Nice bright warm and delicious! -He continued wagging his tail some more and putting the small flame in his mouth, a small amount of smoke escaped his nose as he exhaled and the flame was extinguished- Fire is the go to way to go! Especially since your all cold and stuff, shaking and what not. -He took one of the other's hands gently pulling them off out into the front near the fire pit he tended to frequently, a small array of rocks and ash- He can have a nice and pretty one right here! And you can help light it if you want too!

Connor: -he flinched at the fire and looked up at tap as if he were crazy- D-delicious? b-but that's insane! -he said watching him as he put a small flame in his mouth. taking a step back he watched as the smoke blew from his nostrils and into the air. he leaned forward a bit blinking- y...your okay?-he clenched his book a bit tighter baffled at how he could be okay. he had been so positive the fire eating trick was fake yet with the display happening right in front of him proved him otherwise. in a daze like manner he allowed his hand to be taken as he was easily lead away. he hadn't noticed his hands shaking until it was in the firm grip of the others. his eyes glossed over the fire pit and he looked up at tap- h...help...light? -he spoke quietly as if he was unsure if that option was really alright.-
