Definitely. This season has been kind of strange--the Mane 6 have been AWOL (I was astonished to find Fluttershy still alive in the last episode!) but so many minor characters like Big Mac and Diamond Tiara are finally getting some well-deserved character development.

Yeah, I think it's nice to have some variety. The Mane 6 are mostly just for major plot events now, while the spotlight is shifting to the other ponies.

I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of most of the first half of this season, but it's been pretty on point ever since they returned from hiatus.

Mine too. I loved the two Rarity episodes, and this latest episode had me cracking my sides laughing--and I don't even like Pinkie Pie that much. (About time Shining Armor showed up again!)
